Synopsis

Rifenhardt struggles to convince the newly purchased Siris to see him as an equal and not a master, while flashbacks show their time together during a desperate war where she was a savior and he was just someone trying to survive. The chapter jumps between the present, where Rifenhardt buys things for Siris and tries to get her to call him by his name, and the past where he says goodbye to his allies, including Siris. In the end, we learn Siris was treated as an inferior product, and Rifenhardt gives her a name and surname.
