Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist confronting a Lich in a dark haven that amplifies its powers. The protagonist's initial attacks are ineffective, and they realize that only holy-attribute skills can deal significant damage. Despite using divine flames, they are unable to overpower the Lich's necrotic energy. They decide to aim for the Lich's life stone with their sword while noting the Lich might have hidden intentions and not be taking them seriously.
