Synopsis

The chapter opens with a description of an old, forgotten prison within the castle, permeated with the energy of death. The protagonist, who is identified as an intruder, discovers this location and encounters Commander Maxman and an apparent imposter, who is revealed to be a Lich. The protagonist then uses a stealth ability to move through the shadows and finds a soldier to engage in a secret conversation, who reveals they have a month to prepare for an unknown catastrophic event.
