Synopsis

A daughter of Samarkand named Serajard appears seeking Lloyd Frontera, claiming she can only sleep when he's around. Meanwhile, back in Frontera County, the residents are experiencing strange but joyful changes, including the arrival of expensive luxury goods from Asfahan. The Count and his family are overjoyed with their son Julian's academic success and are generally very happy, despite the oddities around them. Lloyd's negotiation with Samarkand is successful, and he seems to be driving the direction of the county's development.
