Synopsis

The chapter introduces a conflict between 'extreme conservatives' and 'extreme liberals' within a tribe, centered around their ingrained tradition of running whenever and wherever they want. A human intervenes, proposing the construction of a dedicated racing arena, leading to heated debates and a challenge from the tribe's best racer, Cherokan. The human accepts the challenge, setting the checkpoint at a distant border, despite others doubting his chance of winning against the famed racer.
