Synopsis

Ling Ce, after failing to awaken in his previous life, is determined to not repeat his past. He enters a job change mission in a government-developed game, Heavenland, where the awakened gain real-world powers. He's faced with a two-phase mission. He chooses the second phase which introduces the concept of stacking awakening rates, giving him a chance to become an awakened. Meanwhile, back in the real world, his guild is concerned about his extended mission time and the escalating tensions with another guild, Wolf's Fang, who recently ambushed a teammate.
