Synopsis

The protagonist, despite facing opponents with twice his attributes, gains the upper hand by relying on his "Conditioned Reflexes" which he refers to as "Toptime", allowing him to react faster than his opponents can predict. He also exploits the "Hit Recovery" mechanic, demonstrating that raw stats aren't everything. Simultaneously, his friend Ling Ce is rapidly gaining experience in order to get a job change and awaken his powers. The chapter ends with Ling seemingly having succeeded in the job change, while the opponents of the main character remain unsuccessful, indicating a power shift has occurred in the narrative.
