Synopsis

Ed shields Janica from a chaotic event at Ophis Hall, demonstrating concern for her safety despite his own injuries, while the true intentions of the student takeover are hinted at. Lortelle's background of hardship and betrayal, is showcased, revealing her desire for loyalty among others, while a plan is revealed to destroy Ophis hall from within. Furthermore, the chapter introduces the leader of the Elite Merchant Association, Lortelle's adoptive father and murderer of her biological father, and hints at his unexpected arrival at the academy, raising suspicions about hidden motives.
