Synopsis

The chapter opens with an old man displaying a peculiar and seemingly ridiculous power which is quickly revealed to be the ability to create an inescapable space. Several characters, including Sinka, are trapped inside and now face a life-or-death situation. The group discusses their options, considering either focusing on buying time or fighting to kill the man immediately, as Sinka realizes her ability to help outside is now useless. The chapter ends with the old man expressing his ambition and seeking to make others "unrivaled" like himself.
