Synopsis

The Emperor attempts to pressure the Crown Prince to willingly give up his position to the Second Prince, citing concerns about the Prince's health. The Crown Prince, however, refuses to yield and suggests a duel to determine who is more deserving of the throne. He later explains to an aide that he desires to maintain the title not for personal gain, but because he recognizes the Second Prince's unsuitability as a leader and foresees the empire's downfall if the Second Prince takes power.
