Synopsis

After being trapped in a hellish abyss, the protagonist returns to Earth, discovering that a large-scale invasion by evil constellations was repelled by Earth's hunters. A truce has been established, but it's unstable, with other constellations poised to attack. A cat familiar informs the protagonist that he is far from done fighting and that his power may draw the constellations to Earth, potentially triggering a massive battle, and shows the protagonist a way to check the abilities of others. The protagonist also discovers he can't use magic, surprising his companion.
