Synopsis

The chapter begins with Odaigon and a group of hunters navigating a dungeon, where they discuss the unique nature of the ghoul monsters. Other hunters attempt to gain Odaigon's favor, hoping he will lead them in high-tier dungeons due to his perceived strength. A flashback reveals the public scandal of faked hunter rankings, specifically in martial arts, leading to its decline. Odaigon then reveals knowledge about the emergence of a new constellation and a demon army's attempted invasion of Earth, which was ultimately repelled with great sacrifice.
