Synopsis

The chapter begins with a discussion about the failing power of the Canas Emperor and the nobles' control over the throne. The protagonist, having lost his family due to this political instability, vows to change things. During their journey to obtain the royal inheritance, they are ambushed by a transportation spell, sending them to an underground waterway. They realize they cannot use magic to escape and must find another way out while also dealing with injuries and the ongoing threat.
