Prince Lagier of Jerlayla, disguised, encounters a group who recognizes him despite not revealing his identity. He is then approached by a 'fairy nanny' who he helped earlier and expresses disdain for the coronation celebrations. Later, a princess named Frederick notices him and recognizes him as the prince, inviting him for a walk, and seems smitten by his appearance. Lagier, however, appears annoyed by all the unwanted attention.
Lagier, the prince of Jerlayla, arrives at the new emperor's coronation and is recognized despite his attempts to remain inconspicuous. He is then invited for a walk by another princess.
