Synopsis

The protagonist awakens from a strange dream and reflects on the recent battle, which was a pyrrhic victory. They then start training with a mercenary group, notably their leader Grania, and quickly show impressive progress. Throughout the day, they experience intense thirst and physical heat, followed by a drive to fight, resulting in a seemingly involuntary slaughter of enemies. Finally, the protagonist learns they will receive a reward for their actions and gives the messenger their location.
