Synopsis

Nox unexpectedly activates a powerful artifact called "The Great Sage's Highest Grade Orb", which registers him as its second owner and grants him a temporary surge of mana. During a match that was presumed to be a simple duel, Nox uses the boosted mana to cast a magic missile, surprising his opponent, who is from the imperial family. This leads to the opponent proposing a bet, with the prize being Nox's servitude instead of the opponent's sister, Penelope, and Nox is challenged to defeat his opponent through sheer force.
