Synopsis

Prince Louis offers Nox a reward for saving his sister, and Nox requests access to the Ark River, a place only for the Imperial family and Divine households. This causes an uproar among the court. Meanwhile, Princess Penelope is revealed to be scheming, attempting to use Nox to deal with the First Prince and sever his ties to his family. Finally, the chapter introduces a fallen legendary figure, Esteban, seemingly mentally impaired, as someone potentially important to the ongoing narrative.
