Synopsis

Professor Ras, known for his brilliance in magic theory, becomes fixated on making Nox his top student, despite Nox's repeated rejections. Meanwhile, Garen returns to his family home, facing hostility and revealing a mysterious 'demon' threat and a hidden ancestral sword. Nox is praised by several characters and identified as someone who has subdued the IMP, but continues to reject Ras' offer, demonstrating a more complex personality than rumored. The chapter ends with Nox's potential as a 'light' or 'dark cloud' for the family being questioned.
