Synopsis

Nox, having cleared the Missing Child's Forest, is summoned by the Patriarch, who, despite the objections of his vassals, acknowledges Nox's achievement and grants him one wish. Nox is given time to consider his request, and upon his return home, is introduced to his new maid, Djitri, a highly capable individual with a dark past. The chapter also hints at Nox's terminal illness and the Patriarch's intention for one of his sons to eventually kill him.
