Synopsis

The chapter opens with various groups gathering for a bounty hunt, where Ming He, a Starlight Rank intern, is turned down by the Crimson Eagles due to his low rank and perceived weakness. However, his old classmates, recognizing his struggles and need for money, decide to bring him along, despite his non-combat 'luck' ability. They also discuss the ongoing pollution issue, hypothesizing it originates from the sewers and has spawned various mutant monsters, including cockroaches, maggots, and rats, with the maggots proving to be unexpectedly dangerous.
