Synopsis

Private Lee Ayunwook is surprisingly selected by the Battalion Commander to temporarily lead a platoon despite his lack of experience. Almost immediately, the Kobold attack begins, decimating multiple squads. Lee struggles to comprehend the situation as the support squad struggles to fulfill their assigned duties while trying to set up sensors, and then another platoon leader tries to intimidate Lee, before being interrupted by a second platoon leader. The chapter ends with the dire situation escalating as the attack proves more intense and fast than anticipated.
