Synopsis

The chapter details the creation of a concentrated holy water called 'Saintess' Tears', meant to purify the slums. However, the holy water is stolen from the church's safe. It's also revealed that a man, the 'Night Hound', was instrumental in minimizing casualties from the 'Red Death' outbreak. The Saintess's father, a powerful cardinal, learns about the Night Hound and, despite his daughter's defense of him, intends to personally interrogate him.
