Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Saintess arriving to heal people afflicted by a mysterious epidemic in the slums, displaying her miraculous healing abilities. A character, identifying himself as "Night Bloodhound," analyzes the situation, explaining that the epidemic could be a calculated attack by the Leviathan Clan for research and the Bourgeois family for profit. He also points out the slums are being used as a scapegoat. This revelation prompts the Saintess and her companion to plan an investigation of the slums.
