Synopsis

Commander Joshua, having completed his objectives within the Imperial Palace, is leaving to investigate rumors of a lich appearing on the border between Avalon and the Thran Principality. He reveals his past life's connection to the current emperor Kaiser, whom he originally intended to undermine, and the unexpected 'third power' protecting him. Joshua's comrades express their loyalty, refusing to say farewell and vowing to wait for his return. He also acknowledges that he has obtained his past life's weapon and a new peerage. Joshua now needs to understand what changed and learn about the third party as well as deal with Kaiser.
