The chapter begins with Chung Myung being restrained from confronting his seniors, as the upcoming Mount Hua and Southern Edge Conference is brought up as a reason to not instigate trouble. However, the seniors, feeling challenged by the third-class disciples' rising strength, begin enforcing strict and petty rules on them. The third-class disciples, especially those around Chung Myung, are pushed to their limits, and Chung Myung declares he will fight back, ending with him charging to attack the seniors.
Chung Myung is held back from attacking his seniors by his companions, but the seniors then begin enforcing harsh rules and punishments on the third-class disciples. This pushes the third-class disciples, led by Chung Myung, to finally revolt.
