Synopsis

The chapter sees the main characters leave Sichuan, after being warned about the dangers of the Southern Region Beast Palace in Yunnan. They join a merchant caravan for safe passage, adopting their uniforms to blend in. However, the journey is slow and frustrating, leading to a confrontation with bandits on the border of Sichuan and Yunnan. Despite the obvious danger, the main characters display an unusual enthusiasm for the encounter.
