The chapter begins with an internal investigation into Elder Hwang's condition, suspected to be caused by someone within the guild. Chung Myung arrives and, despite initial skepticism and mockery due to his youth, he manages to convince the young master he has clues regarding his father's mysterious illness by correctly describing unique symptoms. Despite being underestimated, Chung Myung proposes the illness is related to a demonic art. The chapter ends with Chung Myung beginning a formal diagnosis and investigation and posing a critical question about the most trusted person surrounding the Elder.
Chung Myung arrives at the Eunha Merchant Guild claiming to know about the Elder's illness, which is suspected to be internal, and is eventually granted an audience, revealing that the elder may be afflicted by a demonic art.
