Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Mount Hua Divine Dragon seemingly succumbing to poison, only to reveal an immunity, leaving the Tang Clan poisoner shocked. The poisoner then delivers a monologue about the Tang Clan's true strength being their poisons, not hidden weapons, and unveils a deadly poison to torture the Divine Dragon. This act prompts a confrontation with the Tang Clan patriarch who is horrified, leading to an internal conflict within the clan over their traditional values and the elder's ruthless ambition. The chapter ends with the patriarch deciding he must act to stop the elder, despite his hesitations and guilt.
