Synopsis

The chapter begins with the Ivory Tower offering Hayley a deferred punishment, instead giving her a chance to become a magician under their supervision for three years. This deferred punishment will depend on her actions as a magician, and also leads to her losing her title as Princess. The trial reveals that the Tower Master was complicit in hiding her magic and using her to fight an evil organization, and the main supporting characters plea on her behalf to avoid harsh punishment. The Ivory Tower acknowledges her talent and sees her caution as justified, due to her being aware of the Tower Master’s past.
