Synopsis

The chapter details the aftermath of the failed rebellion led by the STH Prince, which resulted in executions of those involved. Emperor Terry Greenriver recovered and Paul Lance, who was under mind control, was exonerated and buried with honor. The chapter then moves to the main character reflecting on his past, specifically his first encounter with a prince who shows genuine kindness, despite his own recent loss of a parent. It ends with the main character facing down a dying foe, while reflecting on past animosity and present pity.
