Synopsis

The chapter features two main plot threads. First, it follows a conversation where the Ivory Tower Master reveals he witnessed the princess practicing magic in the Imperial Sanctum. Later, we learn that individuals are plotting to destabilize the empire by targeting the Crown Prince to draw out a mythical 'Gold Dragon'. The Ivory Tower Master's commoner status is also highlighted as an issue at the upcoming banquet, and the princess pledges to protect her brother's political standing. Finally, the chapter ends with the conspirators planning to use a puppet to achieve their goals.
