Synopsis

Ian, a high-class magician, attends a banquet hosted by the first prince and is introduced to the princess. He's approached by Sir Oliver, a knight serving the first prince, who seeks to determine Ian's loyalty amidst rumors of his accomplishments at the Ivory Tower. Sir Oliver asks if Ian will side with the Ivory Tower, which supports the fifth prince. Ian gives a vague response and Sir Oliver offers a royal family heirloom, a mind-clearing necklace, in exchange for becoming his sparring partner, hoping to learn how to fight magicians.
