Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist being restrained and forced to consume a 'Heaven and Earth Spirit'. His captor plans to use the protagonist's body to detoxify the spirit's poison and absorb its essence. However, the protagonist's internal extreme cold energy, accumulated from moonbathing for millennia, battles the spirit. He recalls poisoning the captor's wine using a ruse, and now plans to use the resulting distraction to counterattack. This is made more potent due to his body now being in a state of internal conflict between the Yin energy of the Spirit, and the Yang energy of the Bamboo book he cultivates.
