Synopsis

The chapter opens with a crucial gangplank breaking, halting a transport operation. The characters devise a plan to use the ship and logs to create a pontoon bridge. However, obtaining the necessary logs requires them to approach the Great Turtle Stronghold, a hostile force they've recently wronged. A character decides to attempt the dangerous negotiation, facing a difficult situation to prevent failing his first escort mission. He takes the money pouches as a 'negotiating tool' despite the implications of failing before.
