Synopsis

The chapter opens with a healer expressing intense self-loathing and guilt over past failures, revealed through their self-inflicted wounds. They are then confronted by another healer who seeks to understand their powers but ends up revealing the devastation the healer's actions (or inactions) caused to a young boy and his mother. This encounter is punctuated by the perspective of an angry citizen who vows to retaliate against those who speak ill of a hero, while highlighting the public's growing discontent. The original healer ultimately acknowledges their failings and leaves.
