Synopsis

The chapter opens with Maria, a member of the Glory Guild, finally introducing herself to the hunter she's been observing. Simultaneously, the Guild is facing difficulties recruiting new talent, with their past reputation and aggressive tactics being a point of concern. They discuss the possibility of employing media attention to attract the hunter they've been trying to recruit as well as Maria's unusual recent behavior. The chapter concludes with the CEO discussing his philosophy that desire trumps all, and that the hunter will inevitably turn to the Glory Guild for power.
