Synopsis

Tepes, a vampire and heir to a fallen lineage, is hiding with one other surviving clan member. Meanwhile, the Storm Merchantry, en route to Lubena's territory, learns that Count Lubena is manipulating events and is connected to a vampire. The merchantry concludes Lubena is actively building an army, potentially to oppose the church, and may have orchestrated the desert bandit attack to prevent their arrival. Despite the danger, the Merchantry, bound by duty, decides to proceed to Lubena, aware of the high likelihood of facing annihilation.
