Synopsis

The chapter begins with a battle where Jerome demonstrates unexpected power, leading to an explanation of Dhampirs—half-human, half-vampire beings, susceptible to silver but strong at night. It's then revealed that the church is in danger because Count Lubena is forming a large army while trying to acquire 'Black Quartz.' The chapter ends with a humorous exchange about sleeping arrangements, after everyone is dismissed for the night.
