Synopsis

The chapter opens with ogres planning to attack and consume the humans in a village. The ogres assault the village's gate, causing panic amongst the defenders. Suddenly, a powerful individual appears, claiming to be a herald of the Emperor and wielding a magical book that aids in the gate's defense. This mysterious herald is recognized by at least one villager as the 'mugger' from before, and declares their ambition to become the 'King of the Fang'.
