Synopsis

The chapter explains that the conflict began tens of thousands of years ago when three brothers summoned Morpheus, angering other gods who chose to ignore the situation. The protagonist, after a long journey, seeks Ra, learning that gods view humans as mere food, and is aided by Khepri, who can transform for flight. Finally, the protagonist arrives at a temple, where he faces a mysterious enemy who also has a rare "soul servant" who they must engage in conflict.
