Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist barely surviving a fatal attack, experiencing a sense of deja vu. They discover drained corpses and deduce a new, incredibly powerful threat is responsible, a 'Dominator' that hunts by sucking blood. The protagonist suspects that other 'players' might exist in this world, and their survival hinges on having increased agility. The chapter concludes with the protagonist overwhelmed by the sheer killing intent of the Dominator and a sense of impending doom.
