Synopsis

The chapter reveals the protagonist, a mountain-dwelling martial artist, left his isolated life due to a desire to test his strength against the rumored "Ten Dragons and Phoenixes." He then meets a seemingly ordinary beggar, who is surprisingly insightful and aware of the protagonist's background. They share a meal, where the protagonist has new experiences, like greasy food and alcohol and discusses his upbringing with his grandfather. The chapter ends with the protagonist becoming drunk and the beggar seeming to reveal they are both from the Just Faction.
