Synopsis

The chapter opens with a demon criticizing Mr. Devourer for his passive approach, stating that he could have easily wiped out humanity. The demon blames Mr. Devourer for the deaths of countless demons and makes his intentions clear to eradicate all humans. Simultaneously, in the midst of battle, a soldier, on the verge of becoming an undead, asks a mage for a weapon, revealing that they are losing the fight and that others are being harmed. The soldier is connected to a group of knights, of which the mage is not a companion, but is instead a mere servant. The chapter ends with the introduction of an ancient monster with god-class magic.
