Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist learning about Lady Batory's warning regarding undead activity near Hastin and a potential culprit, Erevos. The focus then shifts to a cult operating in Hastin, led by a priest who gives out wafers and promises salvation, while using a dark mana. The protagonist observes their actions, recognizes a member's undead aura, and concludes a scheme is afoot. The protagonist also notes the suspicious presence of a figure with an undead aura close to the Lord of Hastin.
