Synopsis

This chapter is largely a series of monologue pages where the protagonist reflects on the harsh realities of his world. He emphasizes that in order to survive, he had to abandon compassion and mercy, because in this world kindness is met with betrayal. He justifies his ruthlessness by viewing everyone around him as monsters who deserve such treatment. The chapter also includes various translation and scanlation credits and a recruitment message for Korean translators.
