Synopsis

An individual trapped in an unknown place expresses their desire to return home and describes their past struggles. They are interrupted by another entity who proposes a plan to use a small rift to attack the powerful mage Hilder, who they believe is manipulating them. The plan involves waiting for the right moment, and the two agree to cooperate; the trapped individual shows a desire to leave and a desire for revenge and the entity is interested in using the plan to achieve their own goal of tearing Hilder apart. The chapter ends with a demonstration of power and the beginning of the plan with a request for the individual to trust them.
