Synopsis

The chapter begins with an adventurer, Blade, falling through a dimensional rift into a temporary dungeon where she experiences her 'Awakening' while facing illusions of past trauma. Meanwhile, her companion finds himself in the same space and has to fight a regenerating, plague-bearing entity, while dealing with the dungeon collapsing due to Blade's completed awakening. The chapter ends with the entity revealing its motives to destroy everything and attack the companion before he can escape.
