Synopsis

The chapter opens with chaos as it's revealed a prisoner has escaped and Elder Mang is unconscious, sparking an urgent search. The pursuers struggle on a narrow path while discussing the missing prisoner, before encountering another group. A confrontation erupts, revealing the escapee amongst them, who uses a poisoned pottery shard to quickly kill one pursuer, leading to the start of a deadly standoff where he reveals his plan to use poison while maintaining distance.
