Synopsis

Baron Schetta is alarmed when the Empress expresses a desire to tour his town, as he's been concealing its dire state and his exploitative practices from her. He had previously insisted on taking her to the hunting grounds instead, to show off his nobles. He had even manipulated the townspeople into believing he was protecting them, while actually exploiting them. The Baron is now worried that his deception will be revealed and lead to severe consequences, including execution.
