Synopsis

Baron Schetta proposes a ball and hunting trip to the Empress, both of which she readily accepts, much to his joy and hidden political scheming. The Empress internally expresses concern about how she might appear too eager to engage in these activities. She is also polite to Baron Schetta, while annoyed by those who tag along with her, referencing Duke Marcus also thinking of her.
